divisibility_tests.ppt |
This weeks spelling pattern is changing the y to an i before a suffix is added. Our test will be on Monday.
This weeks Numeracy homework is to revise the divisibility tests we have been looking at in school using the power point presentation above to help. Then complete the question grids you have been given by applying these tests to the numbers.
This weeks and next weeks literacy task will be to research and produce a Fact File on Shakespeare.
We have looked at what makes a good fact file in our history lessons and the children should aim to :
Sub-headings to organise their points.
Include short facts and more detailed paragraphs.
Labelled pictures to add interest.
The children are free to hand write this in their homework books or if they prefer they can word process it and print it out for their homework books.
As this is being set over two weeks, I will be expecting completed fact files of approximately 1 page please.
