This week the children have been given some questions to answer about a science investigation called 'Fizz-pop rockets.' For this task, I would like the children to answer the questions in full sentences in their homework books. In the last question they are asked to think of an alternative investigation and to plan it out. For this they will need to think of a different variable to change each time eg the number of Alka-Seltzer tables used, the size of the tubs used, the volume of water used.
When presenting their plan they should answer the following:
What is the question you are investigating?
What is it you will be changing each time?
What will you be measuring each time?
What will you have to keep the same each time to ensure the test is fair?
Homework will need to be handed in by next Tuesday please.
