I hope you received the text last night from two of the pupils - they enjoyed trying to sum up the day in a text message!
Yesterday we persevered through the rain and everyone met their challenge on the trapeze. I shall let the children explain what they had to do! Mrs Stone and I managed to do it too! Later the children took part in a challenge circuit where they worked incredibly well as a team. I even raced one of the children, I shall let him or her let you know who won!
After lunch we all faced the vertical challenge. This was a rope ladder, followed by three tyres, followed by a climbing wall and finishing with a cargo net! It was great to see the children face such a scary activity. The children then learnt how to really trust their partners by taking part in a sensory trail.
Today we woke up to glorious sunshine after two days of rain. This morning was zip wire and then quad biking. Many of the children are adding a quad bike to their Christmas list! The zip wire proved a challenge to some of the children but we were really proud as everyone gave it a go.
Mrs Stone left us at lunch time, and Mrs Temple joined us. This afternoon we learnt how to survive in the English woodland with just a tarpaulin, a long piece of string and a short piece of string. We also went canoeing and turned into zombies - again - ask the children on Friday!!
Tonight the children were ready for bed and were pleased with the letter and Malteasers from Mrs Wright.
The children are really excited about all the activities tomorrow - lets hope that the sun shines!
