I hope that you are looking forward to visiting the Living rainforest.
Children are to wear full school uniform and a coat. It will be very hot inside the glasshouses so they will be able to take off coats and jumpers. If it is dry we will be eating outside, so coats will be needed.
Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink, as the glasshouses are hot and humid.
You may also bring a notebook and pen, and a book to read on the journey if you wish.
I will be taking photos throughout the visit. You may bring a camera if you wish, but remember that it is your responsibility. Pupils must not take pictures during the tour but will be given time during free time in the glasshouses to take pictures.
All children are expected to demonstrate full respect to plants, animals, staff and to any other visitors during the visit. Remember that the rainforest may contain poisonous or defensive plants and free roaming birds and other wildlife. Children are not allowed to touch the plants and animals.
