What an amazing day!
The children have been exemplary in their behaviour today and have thoroughly enjoyed all of the challenges which they have faced. The first one was getting their bags up two flights of stairs.
The children thought that the accommodation was like a five star hotel and so they have made themselves at home.
We have had wet weather, but that just encouraged them to get more wet. This afternoon's activity was raft building. Everyone got involved and ended up building a raft.... of sorts.... photos to follow.
The activity resulted in a superb rendition of heads, shoulders, knees and toes before heading back to the showers to warm up.
After a dinner of Cumberland Sausage, Cod or veggie lattice the children hunted for pirate treasure and then headed to bed!!
It is now 10pm and the majority are settled...... we hope!
